this is the first of all your posts that i see and that is because you were one of the photographers featured in marcel's darkrooms magazine. as a respect for all the work put in, i subscribed today to each photographer that was mentioned in the magazine and for whom i had no subscription. also in today's magazine, you can find michael elliot. if you want something more than just a technical review of a camera, check michael's posts or website. warning: he is using only film cameras.

I recommend you check out the work of Nina Kling. She produced a book last year called, Duologues which consists of paired images. I took inspiration from her and her project and have been slowly created diptychs of images from my archive to begin make sense of a large body of work. https://www.ninaklingphotography.com/duologues

Thank you for your recommendation, will have a look 👍 It's an interesting idea to explore. Wesley Verhoeve did something similar in his book Notice (https://www.wesley.co/shop/p/notice )

Thank you Shital. Almost every day I pass by this small playground on my way to work and on one moody morning I stopped to take this image :)

The picture with the swings is fabulous. I love the mood and the atmosphere. There something almost a little ominous about it (though I may be viewing it that way because I've just be watching a zombie TV show).

I haven't been shooting as long as you, but going back through older images I do find 'accidental' series since I'm often drawn to shooting similar subjects. I also print a magazine of my pictures roughly once a month. Even if they are not thematically connected, they are connected by having been taken that month.

I'm a new subscriber so I'm looking forward to working back through your archives.

Thank you! I find it interesting that many readers like the swings photo, didn't really expected that :)

To (periodically) print a magazine of our photo's is a good idea. Then you have a physical copy of your photo's and that's always a good thing.

Thank you for subscribing, my archive isn't that massive to go through but hope you'll find something interesting to read.
